Designed by Cath Kidston Antique Rose Gromit has arrived in his new home in the heart of Yate and will be on display with his very proud new owners Yate Supplies in North Road, Yate.

Financial Director Catherine Aston who made the successful bid online said "We know of so many members of staff and friends who have been helped over the years by the care of Bristol Children's Hospital that our support for the appeal was never in doubt. We are delighted to have helped such a great cause and are overwhelmed to have our own Gromit".

Yate Supplies a family owned business has its roots firmly based in Yate and has been part of the catering supply industry for over 30 years. Managing Director Derek Aston said "we owe Bristol a great debt for supporting us as we started out all those years ago and helping us to become the National Distributor we now are". |

Scott Shackleford Commercial Director and son of the founders said "we have expanded the business so much over the past 7 years into the Crockery and Kitchen Equipment market that the Cath Kidston was such a perfect fit it just had to be".
Employees at Yate Supplies could hardly believe the news the night of the auction when texts and emails between them spread the news that we have a new member of staff. Many had followed the Gromit Unleashed Trail and visited their final exhibition before the Grand Auction.
Although Antique Rose Gromit worked hard through the summer brightening up the days of all those that followed the trail the directors and staff at Yate Supplies are determined that the fun and fund raising will continue.
"We will be inviting local Primary and Nursery Schools to visit us and plans are already afoot for Antique Rose Gromit to make a few trips around the area to support local events. We are so proud of being the owners of a Gromit we want him to continue to bring smiles and happiness to everyone" said Derek Aston M.D.
